The first impression you get when you have a look at the Nadal's pedigree is a sense of wonder! No less than 7 lines tracing to Mammona, the most important foundation mare of Tersk Stud!!!!
- Nomenklatura (Naseem)
* Her best daughter Neposeda (Priboj)
* Her legendary son Nabeg (Arax)
- Malpia (Priboj)
* Her excellent son Moment (Salon)
- Monopolia (Priboj)
* Her gorgeous daughter Monogramma (Knippel)
- Metropolia (Priboj)
* Her famous son Menes (Nabeg), so double Mammona
Also so precious: 7 times Priboj, 4 times Kann, and 1/4 of his pedigree being Aswan, what explains his refinement.
DAMLINE
The Mammona damline is very precious to me, not only for the morphological qualities but also for their high fertility and their maternal natural predispositions. Nadal comes from the very best females from this damline, what makes him so important as a sire.

Excerpts from articles with reference to Nariadnaia:
Parkinson, Mary Jane. "Dams of Distinction: Tersk-Bred Imports". Arabian Horse World November 1983. Jay Shuler Co., Inc., Palo Alto, California. p. 258.
"*Nariadnaia was one of the Russian mares who captivated Howie Kale when he first visited Tersk Stud in 1975, and he had her high on a list of horses he wanted to bring home. She and her son *Nariadni (by Nabeg) arrived in the spring of 1976 and they, along with about 18 other Tersk imports, represented the Russian Arabians to many Americans who had their first look at them at the Kale farm near Seattle. *Nariadnaia's beauty and refinement helped to 'convert' many American breeders then, and her following of admirers has increased ever since. She began a show career in 1979 and was Show Champion Mare and Reserve Supreme Champion at the important Minnesota All-Arabian show, U.S. Top Ten Mare, and Canadian Top Ten Mare.
In the United States, *Nariadnaia produced three foals, 1977-1981: Karhonoff, a grey colt sired by Tornado; Muscarina, a grey filly sired by *Muscat; and Naribaa, a grey filly sired by Silver Baron. All were bred by Howie Kale.
Last Scottsdale, one of the sales of great interest and speculation was the offering of half-interest in *Nariadnaia at the Karho Farms Sale. She was 14 years old and had a *Muscat filly at her side. She was Lot A of the sale and, not surprisingly, topped the sale at $580,000. Ronald I. Dozoretz of Suffolk, Virginia, was the high bidder in spirited bidding for several minutes. *Nariadnaia remains at Karho under the new ownership.
At Tersk, *Nariadnaia was raced nine times as a two-year-old, won one race, was second three times, and third three times. She produced two colts and a filly (all by Nabeg), and the two colts have been imported. *Nariadni is at Karho Farms at Scottsdale where he is syndicated, and *Nanam is at Dr. and Mrs. Ron Fox's Foxmoor at Ocala, Florida."

Excerpts from articles with reference to Neposeda:
Brown Edwards, Gladys. "Russian Re-Run". Arabian Horse World November 1983. Jay Shuler Co., Inc., Palo Alto, California. p. 80.
"Neposeda, another of those magical Russian chestnuts about which I can emote with great enthusiasm, came next. A bit more feminine - as to head - than *Monogramma, Neposeda looked beautiful no matter what her condition, and not every horse can do that. None of these mares had their poll trimmed at all, let alone clipped halfway down the neck to slim its appearance - they were already clean-cut, light in the throatlatch and, in most instances, long of neck. In fact, they were not trimmed at all, but had only been groomed after being brought in from pasture.
Neposeda was by the great Priboj, out of the Naseem mare Nomenklatura, so she too was of the Mammona family. The year Neposeda was Champion at Moscow, three of her daughters won the Certificate of First Degree: Nemezida (by Arax), Nesravnennaja (by *Salon) and Nega (by Aswan). Nemezida produced Elbrus, now the main scion of the Ofir line in Russia. The handsome chestnut stallion Namek is Nemezida's full brother, and he too is a Certificate winner. Another full sibling is Naturshitsa, dam of the champion *Namiet, by *Salon, and the beautiful *Najada (by Aswan). Also out of Neposeda is the typey *Nariadnaia (by Aswan), who, like *Parketnaia, brought a high price for a half-interest, $580,000, making her 'whole' value over a million dollars. *Nariadnaia is dam of the multi-champion *Nariadni, by Nabeg. *Napitok, Canadian National Champion and U.S. Top Ten in Park, is a Neposeda son by Pirit, a Derby winner. Pirit also won the S.M. Budenny race of 2,800 meters and the 'Elite' of 2,400 meters. The superior sire Nabeg is a half-brother to Neposeda, his sire being Arax."
Parkinson, Mary Jane. "Dams of Distinction: Tersk-Bred Imports". Arabian Horse World November 1983. Jay Shuler Co., Inc., Palo Alto, California. p. 263.
"Neposeda is considered by many to be Nomenklatura's most important daughter, a distinction she acquired through the quality of her foals. Ten of her 12 foals produced from 1961 to 1975 were graded 'elite' in the Russian Arabian Stud Book. Neposeda was also 'The Queen of Tersk,' a title she reinforced by winning the 'Certificate of the First Degree' at the All-Union Exhibition in 1961 and by being named Champion at the same exhibition in 1971 at age 16. Three of her daughters - Nesravnennaja (by *Salon), Nemezida (by Arax), and Nega (by Aswan) - won 'Certificates of the First Degree' in 1971, placing second to their dam, in effect.
Neposeda sons and daughters have been sold to Holland, Sweden, and England. Nasmeshnik (by Arax) went to England in 1966, when he was three, and came to Canada in 1977 in a lease trade between his owners and Howie Kale. This was pre-acceptance by the Arabian Horse Registry of America, so the plan was to breed and register Russian stock in Canada. Unfortunately, Nasmeshnik died a year after his importation, but he had served the purpose of helping to interest Howie Kale in the Russian-bred Arabians when Howie saw him in England in 1974. That interest led to a trip to Tersk.
Another Neposeda son, Namek (also by Arax), went to Kossack Stud in Holland in 1979, when he was 15. Only two years earlier, he won a 'Certificate of the First Degree' at the All-Union Exhibition. Neposeda's son *Napitok (by the Aswan son Pirit) has been at Zodiac Farm since 1979, where he is syndicated. In 1981, Zodiac trainer Spike Barter showed him to Canadian National Champion Park and U.S. National Top Ten Park. *Njuans, Neposeda's 1971 son by Aswan, is at Bardon Arabians at Scottsdale.
Neposeda's daughters, Nemezida (by Arax), Nega (by Aswan), and Nesravnennaja (by Salon), are all valued broodmares at Tersk, following the family tradition. Nemezida is the dam of Numizmat (by Aswan), who is at Peeters' Arabica Stud in Belgium, and of his full brother, the ill-fated Antey, 1982 National Champion of Holland, who died earlier this year in Holland.
Another Neposeda daughter went to Holland as a four-year-old in 1970. Nefisa (by *Salon) was later owned by Peeters' Arabica Stud in Belgium where she was a treasured broodmare. She returned to Holland to Kossack Stud and is now owned by Ken Guilbeaux, who imported her son *Pattrone by Patron (Aswan x Podruga).
*Narada is the last Neposeda offspring to be imported. She was high-selling lot at the 1981 Tersk auction, purchased by Bob Stratmore for $350,000.
Neposeda died in July 1979 at Tersk.
