Since the birth of Faber Arabians, my stud farm dedicated to Straight Russian Arabian horses, and of my commitment to the preservation and positive evolution of the Russian lineages of Tersk, I have always had an acute awareness of the importance, in the selection, of the role of performances achieved by parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc. in the sporting potential that is transmitted to their offspring. Thus, the choice of sires that I propose to my customers or to which I breed my mares is never made without a careful analysis and a strict selection so much of the horse itself, of its qualities: of type, morphology and temperament, and own results, than the performances of his parents and ascendants and what I can see that he passes to his descendants. The quality that I can offer today is the result of a very long-term work, the sum of all the efforts of breeders, trainers and managers over the years, from the creation of Tersk Stud, in the early 20th century until today.
This orientation is more precisely in line with the preservation of the Russian lines proven to be the most performant and in particular those lines which have shown a very high potential for the genetic transmission of sporting qualities, rare and quite exceptional lineages, by the generations of champions they have produced both on the racetrack, and more recently in endurance racing, as in the show ring. They are and remain performing and well-built horses, which retain the typically Arab beauty and the charismatic and spectacular attitude characteristic of the breed. According to me, the true Arabian Horse!
As I regularly follow the production of the Tersk Stud closely, I had not been without noticing the fantastic crosses that were carried out there in recent years, resulting from inseminations with the frozen semen of stallions deceased for a long time, themselves true legends: Muscat, Moment, Aswan, Mashuk. In 2018, I learned of the birth of a son of Moment, one of my favourite Russian stallions. How to know the role that intuition played when I felt a real emotional shock when I saw him in a photo. In his foal woolly coat, so fluffy, trotting alongside his beautiful mother Pianistka, Prize Tersk, the dark chestnut turning grey little miracle left me captivated, with a real heat radiating in the chest. A son of Moment … what an emotion! So I contacted Elena Werdenberg, who manages Tersk’s business relations with the foreign customers and is, among others, a fellow Judge, to express my interest in Prize Tersk. Two years later, a message from Elena: we want to know if you are still interested in him. I did not hesitate one second. The awesome dark grey, son of legendary Moment, from the very good damline of Pantomima, will join the collection of Russian stallions of Faber Arabians.
A historical moment, both for my stud farm and for the breeders and Arabian horses lovers around the world! So I invite you to explore the fantastic pedigree of Prize Tersk, the living miracle son of the legendary Moment.
Prize Tersk had been shown twice: Rising star of Tersk: 3rd of the colt foals class in 2018 and Athletic Cup: 1st of the class of the yearling colts and silver champion of the Junior males in 2019.
Bloodlines
Bred by Tersk Stud in 2018, Prize Tersk is himself a miracle! I would like to especially thank Elena Wertenberg and Olga Birukova from Tersk Stud for trusting me and offering me the wonderful opportunity to buy him and bring him to my stud farm. He really is one of a kind, both for his unique bloodlines than for his own qualities!
Prize Tersk is legendary bred! His rare pedigree is a dramatic concentration of all best Russian bloodlines, through unforgettable worldknown sires and dams who made history! Moment, Salon, Negativ, Malpia, Namaz, Amunitia, Pantomima, Poznan, Palmira, Ptashka, Taktika ... No need to say more! Taktika is the foundator of a very famous P line of Tersk through her wonderful daughter Ptaskha. This damline started in Tersk from Star of the hills, a mare imported from Crabbet Park in 1936.
Prize Tersk comes from the damline of Selma 1865, an Hamdaniyah Simriyah bred by Abbas Pascha, Egypt, and from the Ibrahim OA 1899, a Saqlawi Faliti bred in Hadjar, South of Damascus, Syria and raised by Shaykh 'Abdullah 'Abd Ar-Rahman of the Banu Sakhr Bedouins, sire line.

Bloodlines
Moment was born in 1969 in Tersk Stud. Moment has graced several important Arabian breeding establishments around world. He was exported to Bulgaria at age of three; recalled to Tersk to serve as replacement sire representing the Naseem line through Salon when Muscat was sold to the United States in 1978; stood at stud to more mares than any other Tersk stallion at that time; returned to Bulgaria in 1982 from where he was exported to the USA. In the opinion of several knowledgeable Russian bloodlines fans, he was a better producer than his brother Muscat!

Moment is also a full brother to Muscat, US, Canadian and Scottsdale champion stallion and all time leading Russian sire of champions. Muscat sired over 1000 registered Arabians.
Malpia is by the leading Russian sire of stakes winners, Priboj (click on the name for more information on Priboj), who has 26 Russian stakes winners and 19 Russian stakes placed horses to his credit.
Mammona, the famous dam of Malpia, produced 6 Russian race winners including the stakes winner Monopolia (whose son Magnat sired Polish Derby winner Sanos). Monopolia is also the dam of Russian 2 year old record holder Monogramma, dam of U.S. Reserve National Champion Futurity Colt Monogramm, sire of National Champions in North America and Europe. Mammona is also the dam of Pomeranets 1/7(2-0-5)0-0-1 assumed Priboj's position as chief sire of the Koheilan Adjuze line at the Tersk Stud in 1957 when Priboj died. Pomeranets was the 1955 and 1960 Champion Stallion at the All Union Exhibition in Moscow (sire of stake Winner and Record Holder Leopard 33(21-2-5-2)6-0-1, record holder Lopushok 21(6-0-4-3-)0-0-1). Full brother to Malpia (*Muscat and *Moment's dam), Monopolia 14(3-4-2)1-2 (dam of Monogramma a record setter and the dam of Monogram) and Metropolia 13(4-4-2)0-1 second in the Oaks (the Dam of *Menes).

Born in 2007 in Tersk, Pianistka is a charimatic mare with a well-built body and an amazing m8: 1-2-1-0ovement. She was shown in Russia and rewarded with a silver champion medal as a senior mare.
Pianistka's pedigree gathers some of the most famous bloodlines of Tersk.
She is by Angleter, Russian Nat Champ, 3rd in grp I Great Cup ex Kalinin Stakes who is a superb son of the excellent Namaz out of the great Amunicia's daughter Assol 1/6 (1-1-2-0), considered as the best daughter of Armaniak.
Namaz is also the sire of our mare Monserrat
Namaz 1/4 (2-0-1-0) was raced three times and he won his two last races. During the fifth one, he broke his leg. Luckily he could recover. Because of his high potential as a race horse, he was used in Tersk and gave several very good horses.
Namaz is by the great Mukomol (Kumir) 1/9 (2-1-4) out of the famous Nutria (Topol) 2/21 (3-4-4), 1st Derby (SU), 2nd Oaks (SU), 4th St. Leger (SU), the dam of Anchar (Moment) 38 (11-6-7-3-11), between others.
